Manufacturing

Limestone is a manufacturing facility that specialises in the production of high-quality precious and semi-precious metal products.

We produce all of our products to client specification ranging from sheets, foil, plate and discs, to wire, rods and bars comprising of pure metals (99,99%) and alloys well-suited for the intended use of the finished product.

We are equipped to manufacture metal chemicals on a small and large scale basis ranging from nitrates, sulphates, chlorides, acetates and oxides.

We follow a manufacturing guideline on all products to ensure that clients receive a quick turn around time from receipt of PO to delivery of goods that comply with all standards.

Years of shared experience between a well-lead team from manufacturing and refining backgrounds, ensure that our manufactured goods are always of the highest standards.

Mining Sector

Our products for intended use in the mining industry consist of silver bearing material either in the form of wire, disc, inquartz or silver nitrate for use in the fire assay industry. This is cupelled with lead to removed all oxides and impurities from the sample to give an accurate test result.

We are able to supply cupels and lead foil in addition to our current product offerings.

Components we manufacture for the engineering sector include:

Thermocouple fuse wire is manufactured from either precious or semi-precious metals where conductive resistance or heat tolerance is required. This product is mainly supplied as a 0.9mm/ 0.38mm diameter wire with each batch being accompanied by a certificate of analysis.

Silver and copper foil are produced down to 0.07mm thickness for use with calibration equipment as well as impurity detection systems. Silver and copper anodes for the use in electroplating and colloid manufacturing facilities.

Fine silver wire is supplied for thermal spraying on specialised engineering components for its highly conductive, refractive and oxidation resistance properties. Silver based alloys, solders and pastes can be produced for use in electronic fabrication – this specification is supplied by our client as each use is unique.

Jewellery Industry

Limestone is able to provide services to the jewellery trade by supplying semi-fabricated goods in the form of alloy grains, wire, plate, disc, bar and solder. With our extensive knowledge in the metal industry we will be able to advise what metal will work best for your application and how to work with it.
